Registration information

Abstract submittion will start on 1 October 2025 and for abstract submittion please complete Online form by 28 February 2026.

Authors will be requested to select a session theme that best aligns with the abstract during the submission process. 

Abstracts should be written in English and should be no longer than 250 words.

Abstract title must be typed in Sentence case.

If your registration is duly completed, you will receive automatic confirmation.

  • Legume-based value chains – Pannel Discussion (invited panelists; but additional posters will be accepted)
  • Legume-based cropping systems: Performance, ecosystem services and profitability
  • Biodiversity and beneficial plant-microbe interactions
  • Legumes for human and animal nutrition and health
  • Emerging technologies in omic-based crop improvement
  • Crop breeding: challenges, tools, strategies and achievements
  • Understanding and enhancing legume crop tolerance to abiotic stresses
  • Understanding and enhancing legume crop tolerance to biotic stresses
  • High throughput phenotyping
  • Crop modeling to predict yield, disease and other traits

Presentation format

Abstract may be submitted for the following presentation type:

  • Oral presentation
  • Poster presentation

The Scientific Committee may, based on the abstract and the program, propose a poster presentation rather than an oral presentation or can nominate poster presentation for flash presentation.

Abstracts with a positive reviewer’s opinion will be published in the Book of Abstracts if the registration fee was paid by 31 May 2026.

Important dates

**The category ‘Student’ is for students at the time of registration. Those who apply for Student Registration (including PhD students) are requested to provide the proof of enrolment indicating her/his student status in the registration process.

Satellite Meetings:

  • 10th International Legume Root Diseases (ILRD10) workshop registration fee is 80 €
  • 2nd Lathyrus Day registration (free of charge for participants; the fee is covered by the Fernand Lambein Fund, but participants must register. A No Show Fee of € 80 will be charged)
  • High-throughput phenotyping: a platform to accelerate legume crop improvement (the workshop is free of charge for participants; the fee is covered by the Centre of Excellence for Biodiversity and Molecular Plant Breeding (CoE CroP-BioDiv), but participants must register. A No Show Fee of € 80 will be charged)

Registration fee include:

  • Attendance to all sessions
  • Congres kit
  • Digital access to the Programm and Book of abstracts
  • Welcome cocktail (sponsored by Fernand Lambein Fund)
  • Lunch (from Tuesday to Thursday)
  • Coffee breaks
  • The cost of 50€ for three years subscription to the Legume Society
  • ILS football cup, with transportation
  • Network opportunity to get to know key researchers in this knowledge field

Satellite meeting fee, only valid for program access on 8 June 2026, includes:

  • Access to scientific sessions
  • Lunch
  • Coffee breaks

Registration fee does not include:

  • The gala dinner*
  • Excursion*
  • Transportation

*Attendees of the conference need to apply for them in addition to registration for the conference.

Participants who have paid the registration fee will receive a badge, which has to be worn whenever entering the lecture halls.

Cancellation

All registration cancellations must be sent in writing via email to Dubrovnik Sun.

The following cancellation charges apply:

  • 80% refund of registration fee until 31 March 2026
  • 50% refund of registration fee between 1 April and 30 April 2026
  • No refund after 1 May 2026

As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty. Application for refund will be considered under exceptional circumstances.

Name changes can only be made until 1 May 2026. No changes will be accepted after this date.

To make the name change, you must send the data of the new conference attendant to the Secretariat of the conference, by e-mail rh.rgaobfsctd-20a4e4@kinvorbud5sli.
