We are pleased and honoured to invite all ILS5 participants to one of the most popular ILS events: the Footbal Cup. It is the football tournament that was played before the birth of the ILS, namely during the Antalya 2010 Conference, a joint event of the 5th International Conference on Food Legume Research (IFLRC V) and the 7th European Conference on Grain Legumes (AEP VII). But it has been official since the first edition of the conference in Novi Sad, which was organised by our late colleague Aleksandar Mikić, who also took care of the four different team emblem.

(all those dealing with abiotic and biotic and any other kind of stresses)
Team 3: FC Agrobarcelonomy
(agroecologists, agronomists, agroeconomists…)

(all those dealing with food and feed quality, nutrition and health benefits)
The ILS Football Cup- Dubrovnik 2026 will take place on Tuesday, 9 June 2026 from 20.00- 22.30 at the sports facilities near the Hotel Valamar Lacroma****, but transport for all participants will be organised.
You can participate as a player, referee or supporter in one of the teams. We encourage you to choose the team that best suits your field of research.
Supporters must also register so that we can organize the barbecue and bus transport to the football pitch.
Registration must be completed via our website by 15 May 2026.
The tournament will be played in a 5-player format with semi-final matches followed by a third place match and the final. Matches will last 20 minutes each.
