On Friday, 12 June 2026, a half-day excursion by boat to the island of Šipan will be organised, with tasting of local products and possibility for swimming.
Šipan is the largest (16.5 km2) island of the Elaphite archipelago and is located 17 km north-west of Dubrovnik. There are two main willages on the island: Suđurađ in the east and Šipanska Luka in the west.
Numerous crops are grown on the island, including olives, figs, almonds, citrus fruits and carob. Šipan holds the Guinness World Record for the most olive trees in relation to the size of the island.
Šipan also has a rich religious tradition; there are 43 churches, which once served the locals as protection against pirate attacks.

Attendees will visit the Goravica family farm, who grow olives and vine and also has a factory with a drive for processing carob into carob powder.
